A DIALOGUE ON SUSTAINABILITY, SPIRITUALITY AND RESILIENCE SATELLITE EVENT UNDER THE REPUBLIC OF NAURU NATIONAL PAVILION AT THE 61ST VENICE BIENNALE WITH THE TITLE “AIM INUNDATED – IMAGINE LIFE AFTER LAND”

Join us the 8th of May at 4:30pm-6pm in the terrace of CREA – Cantieri del Contemporaneo, Guidecca, Venice

During the 61st Venice Biennale preview days, we’re hosting an open-air conversation on a Giudecca terrace overlooking the lagoon — exploring how water shapes culture, cosmology, and climate realities. Inspired by a Yoruba proverb and Fela Kuti’s legacy, the program reflects on water as a universal force of life and a site of urgent global concern. From ancient mythologies to contemporary climate crises, the discussion traces how artistic practices respond to environmental degradation, resilience, and collective memory.
